SiWave, founded in 2003, develops
and markets innovative configurable and scalable
PHY solutions for the broadband wireless industry.
The 802.16/WiMAX market is highly segmented and
the standard is still evolving which makes it very
difficult if not impossible to service the whole
market with a single off-the-shelf component. SiWave's
industry expert team has developed and implemented
a unique approach of delivering a single platform
solution that can support multiple PHY standards
and can be easily configured to target mutliple
sectors within the broadband wireless access market.
SiWave markets and sells its products to large OEM,
silicon vendors, etc. who desire to develop their
own solution but do not want to spend too much resources
or the time-to-market requirement is too short for
them to do it themselves. Our current product conforms
to the 802.16d fixed broadband wireless market with
future target market segments include nomadic data
access and cellular.
SiWave's PHY products are available on a wide variety
of silicon platforms which gives our customers the
flexibility to select the platform that most suits
their technical requirements and budget instead
of being stuck with a "one-size-fits-all"
solution.
